Paypal delays & problems
 

I've been doing dropshipping with this person for awhile. She takes advantage of her employee discount at xxxxx I've been selling couple of small appliances for her, like toaster or something. Then my paypal got limited. There wasn't even any steps to steps instructions for me to upload any information. I called in and asked about it. They said something like we have to protect the right of xxxxx. I was asked to fax in the invoices. I made up some. Since there's no way I can get an invoice from employee discount... After a week I didn't hear back from paypal of anything. No confirmation email whatsoever. After awhile I asked them to set up the online submission for me. And again I was asked to wait patiently...until another week they emailed me to ask me to wait for another 2-4 days for them to review my case....What the heck is wrong with paypal!!!! Anyways, hope my limitation will be lifted next week. But I have a question here. If my made-up invoice is found to be a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ one, they will probably close my account right? If so will I still be able to get my money back after 180 days? What's the chance for paypal to call the supplier ? I haven't paid my ebay commission fee since my paypal account got limited. If I don't pay it till my paypal got lifted, what will happen? ( I haven't given my ssn yet)

if they find it is a f ake invoice of course they will not lift it, you knew the answer to that one!!

its a difficult one, Ive not heard of this brand..is it just sold in one place? this employee discount thing is tricky, I had accounts banned for similar thing...I proved items were genuine but the employee thing is a tricky rights owner issue - I never resolved it and remained limited. your situation is that you are not even employee who has discount. I will be honest it isnt an easy one...

usually though they just look at what you submit and wave you through, depends on violations, it also centres around it rights owner is involved and is jabbing them to stick it to you, otherwise they will not be quite so bothered... Also if you are linked to previously banned accounts, they may not tell you it is reason for kicking you off, they will use some other excuse.....

if you make your invoice, put a disposible number on it, and you can take the call...usually they dont call though, but Ive heard of it happening

the 180 days, depends on if you have bank attached or if the address is accessible for check, is account in real name of you or someone you know? sometimes if the address is ok, you can get round the check name with various tricks..

thank you so much for your reply! Yes, I did use my real name and address. So even though my acc got closed forever, there's still chance I'll get my money back after 6 months, right?

yes, if there is a bank attached , withdraw it or get a check sent to you....keep an eye on you email around the 180 day mark

4 days have passed, as paypal promised they will give me a decision on my acc, but still no answer! Called in and was told to wait another 2 days or so...:'(
