Update + More Help Req

So...

My PayPal account was limited at the start of February, I just rang them up and spoke to "Mark" in the reviews department.

As most of you know I was selling MS Keys, digitally delivered goods.

Mark questioned me on this on the phone, and I asked what information was needed (Played a little dumb but not stupid) -

He said the Photo ID, Address Proof, Invoices & Supplier Info.

I asked what would happen to the account if I couldn't supply the Invoices & Supplier Info, as it was a friends company sold this product and he closed down, and sold off the rest of his stock.

Mark advised to submit this information and it would be reviewed, obviously with him being in the review department I asked for his opinion right there, he kind of bounced around it, and left it, not saying much, and just to email it in.

He said if my friend had a company, provide the name, previous address & phone number, and if they had a website, provide this also.

So, can anyone help me and advise where to go from here?

THANKYOU.

They denied a request after legit receipts were sent from salvage sales etc. They they (PAYPAL) had the audacity to send me a note telling me that they use any info available including information from buyers to decide on closing accounts. The paypal is completely shut down and I can only send refunds on it right now.
im not experienced with mskeys so I dont know how to gauge that.
I sell some vero and some non vero.
my issues came when a girlfriend went in and changed passwords then removed some email addresses from the paypal account. ebay got limited and paypal got limited and locked. They asked for the receipts. we sent legit receipts but they denied it. im going to call them and see what happens. im not happy I have almost $500 stuck in the account.

I would say send in the info but normally its for them to get information to hold against you later to never open the account again. sometimes you get lucky if you get creative. "Remember, they really dont care about you or giving you your money."
If it was me I would make sure I got my money and leave it alone.

Someone has made ma invoice and supplier list.

I'm cautious to send though, as its my real address & name?
Would paypal do anything if they believe i have sent ⊗⊗⊗⊗ invoices & suppliers?

My personal advice is that I would bin the account and create a nice new one.

They will have you jumping through hoops to provide all of the information and then there is no guarantee at all that they will reinstate your account.

For me personally I never send them any of my information. No way am I giving them anything and in my honest opinion its easier to start a new account than play to their tune.

Any money that is stuck will be available to withdraw after 180 days to the bank account on file.

Neo- when opening new accounts, do you buy new address box's, or ⊗⊗⊗⊗ addy?

Could they? Yes.
Will they? No.

The best accounts are ones set up using a PO Box, but ensure you tweak the address to not include the words "po box" if possible.

"po box" raises flags, so use the street address of where your box is held.

Another alternative is to use the address of friends or family members. I dont like this too much as if you have a problem or get careless a buyer that wants to return an item could turn up at a relatives door, and that would be embarrasing.

Stealth accounts are good and you just need to liase with a buyer if they are returning an item so it doesnt get lost.

Also if you do create a steath account you can put a sticker on note inside your parcel asking to return any items to the real address. There are plenty of ways to do all this, just have a look at some of the other threads by looking in the search box.
