How does ebay suspension affect PayPal account?
 

I had a fairly new ebay account get suspended yesterday. I have 3 other older accounts that are intact but of course was told not to use them for selling. I also have a PayPal account connected to all 4. I've had the PayPal account for 10 years and find the debit card very useful in many ways. How will the ebay suspension affect my PP account? One of my (legit) suppliers tried to process a payment off my debit card and couldn't, it was rejected. But when I went to the ATM i got cash out no problem. There's been no communication from PP so i don't know what to expect. Anyone have a clue????

You'll need to provide more information, depending on why you were kicked, your paypal account will go unaffected. Have you logged into paypal?

They're not telling me why I was kicked other than "for the safety of the community". It feels like Homeland Security - you're under arrest but it's against our rules to tell you what for....and oh by the way, we've changed the locks on your house. they're not even telling me for how long the account is suspended. Yes, I've logged into PayPal, used the debit card today at the post office automated machine, made a small transfer to my bank account, and used the ATM. The only thing I can't do, apparently, is use the debit card to buy something over the phone. Haven't tried buying online with it.
