Gift Card Removed Need my money

So I had a gift card attached to a paypal with ⊗⊗⊗⊗ info. It had $500 on it. I bought a gift card off ebay with the funds and the transaction went fine. Got hit the next day with a limitation. The other guy actually said he got hit with a limitation also and that paypal wanted his SS# which he had a problem giving out (completely understand that) and he said he would refund my money. So he does and I guess paypal decides to remove my gift card as a credit card so he refunds the money and its in limbo. Paypal wont return it to my cc its not in his account. I got no idea how to go about getting money back. Any suggestions. $500 is way too much to just say screw it for.

Hmmm...I'm not sure so I'll leave these to the more experienced experts here.
Just one thing, how old is the paypal account? and what were they asking you for when they hit you with the limitation and did you resolve it?

i got it. it was actually quite easy. Just called paypal and asked why they hadnt put my money back yet. Also in general conversation told them i had received the gift card as a present when i passed the BAR exam haha

Maybe you can order some whole goods online to sell on craigslist, you get your money out plus a profit.
