Can't buy a Simon card, other ways to confirm?

Hi,

Just got unlucky after buying an item on eBay using my US PayPal account :(
And now my PP is limited...
The problem is, I no longer live in US, so I can't confirm my address.
I can probably call PP and explain the situation, but then they will probably close my account, transferring funds to my US bank account. And I will lose my US PP, but I don't want that to happen.

So I tried buying a Giftaccount from Simon, but they only accept credit cards with US address on them for payments. As I said, I have a US bank account, but address on my card is international.

Could anybody suggest a workaround?

Thanks,
Sergey

Are the accounts US accounts?

Send me a pm if the info is sensitive :ranger:

Yes, US PP account linked to US bank account. But I'm no longer living at the specified address. So that leaves either adding a bank account or CC. I guess, the latter is much easier to do. PMed lakeman for a VCC, awaiting his reply.

OK, I created an EntroPay account and verified it.

Currently I have a real Russian address on it.

Do I need to change my Personal Details in EP to the US address I have with PayPal in order to add EntroPay's card to my PP account?

Cause when I try to change address it says:

The new address country you have chosen is one where gaming traffic is restricted. If you proceed, your account will be suspended and you will be contacted by Customer Services to configure your account.
Please, advise.

Unfortunately, lakeman's VCC didn't work for me.

So I went ahead and added my BofA card as a second funding source, specifying US address I have with PP as a billing address... and my EntroPay account was put on hold :(

I'm somewhere between mad and desperate now :tears: Isn't there a way to confirm my PP? There must be one!

UPDATE:

Just got an email from EntroPay:

Our records show your account was suspended as you are trying to register a US issued credit card. Due to United States legislation we do not offer our service to clients using US issued credit cards.
We have now re-activated your account so that you may register a non US card.

Is the acount already bank verified?

I sent you a pm, btw...

sergeymarley 03-25-2010 11:42 PM

Yes, that's an old bank verified account that even has a PayPal seal, but they limited it anyway.

PM sent.

First Edition,

Sorry, I can't keep all communication on the forum. I have a 6 PM per day limit. Waiting till 7:17PM (local time?) to send a PM to you.

I feel like an idiot. After spending an enormous amount of time on this, I finally called PayPal, explained my situation in a few words and a guy on the other end removed the limitations from my account no questions asked!

Hope this will help somebody :)
