Is this PayPal email a scam?
 

Hi, guys.
I got this email today but it comes as a plain text :( If you follow the link it takes you to "Reported Web Forgery" window... Is it a spam?

Looks like spam. Log into your paypal account, by going to paypal.com, and see if there's a message on the right side saying info needs updated. If not, then it's spam.

Paypal doesn't send emails to "dear paypal account holder" They will include your name on the email. Forward it to spoof@paypal.com and they will respond and let you know if it is spam or not. Also, they will shut it down if they find it is phishing.

It's not a real email. paypal is always polite and calls you by your name...I get quite a few emails like that:ranger:

Hmmmmm..... they were at one point very good about that. That's annoying. You'd think with all of the scammers out there they'd be more on top of those guys trying to steal accounts and less after people like us.
