Paypal Limited. Paid cash. Can't supply invoices.

I have a major problem. I sold $4,000 worth of merchandise in 1 week and now my paypal is limited and my ebay accounts will not let me list anything on them anymore because they are linked to suspended accounts. Anywayat first they asked for my suppliers which I gave them and now they want invoices for 4 items. 2 of the items I have invoices for because I purchased them on ebay and resold them on ebay so I just printed off the ebay invoices for 2 items. The other 2 items on the other hand were bought with cash from a guy on craigslist. These I have no receipt or invoice or anything for them. These items are also Vero items and I have gotten them removed several times because I am not an authorized dealer. So should I tell them I can't provide any type of invoice or receipt for the other 2 items because I paid cash from a local ad? Should I have my brother who has a business make me a invoice for those 2 items? I sold a couple hundred of them so if I show them a invoice with only the 2 items that there asking about are they going to demand to see more? It's strange there only asking for those 2 because of how many I sold with no issues. I'm wondering if they don't even care what the item is. They sell for around $125-$175 a piece. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

This is hit or miss because I have had it work 1 time and denied once.
Its worth a try if you have money caught up in it. do send them invoices but be very creative and make sure they are legit and will stand up if they check it.
I wouldnt ship anything at this point because chances are slim they will release the money. any item I could have turned around or returned by FEDEX i would so i wouldnt lose my money and my item. hope that helps.

What kind of invoices would I send them? If I had a company make one for me do they actually call them and start asking questions or something? I as this because you said make sure there legit and will stand up if they check it. Also I don't even know if ppal knows these are vero items because they never mentioned anything and the other items that they want invoices for are not vero items. Yes my ebay accounts have had them removed before but ppal never mentioned anything about vero items or any of my accounts being suspended. Please give me the best advice you can. I have $4,000 stuck in paypal right now. Is the worst case scenario having to wait 180 days to get my money? They can't just keep it right?

Do you have a legit address and bank account on file with them?

roadblaster 04-09-2010 02:23 AM

Yes. 100% legit info.

Keep us updated with whether they re-instate your account, or keep it clsoed.

Hate when people post there problems, but never post the outcome.

sorry it took me so long but im back.
I buy so much stuff that I always keep some receipts laying around from local companies, wholesale places etc. I know they will not give them any information if paypal/ebay called. You could give a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ call to a company you have a receipt for and see what they do in that situation. be very creative. think like them. you could even go buy something and change the dates if you are savvy.
If your info is legit you should be able to get your money. I go at them hard when legit and not legit because IT IS YOUR MONEY! AND ITS A SHAME YOU HAVE TO FIGHT TO GET YOUR OWN HARD EARNED MONEY FROM THE THIEVES AT PAYPAL!
The only problem I foresee is if your account is linked to a suspended account then they will not help you and best could happen is they send it to you in 180 days.
Phone calls to them work better I have found because sometimes you get a nice, helpful person. Emailing them is a waste of time.

GreenBean 09-10-2010 07:26 AM

Why? Users come, users go.....if he beat them Good Luck . If not, he'll be back or he wants to mind his own business :pop2:
