Account Limited with $6000 in the account
 

Ok...here's the deal. I have a bank account and I moved $6000 to paypal to purchase a vehicle. But I decided not to purchase the vehicle and moved it my other checking account (well attempted to move it)... THEY LIMITED MY ACCOUNT!!!! They are asking for all types of docs...which is fine, b/c I can prove the two accounts, the social security info, credit card address confirmation, and bill sent to current address. But my driver's license is NOT valid and the address on it is a P.O. Box. I don't have a valid address to send. What can I do? Just send the docs in and see what happens and what is the deal with waiting 180 days and then transferring to the checking account. Please Help!!!!!!!!!

If all your info is legit you should be just fine. As for the DL issue just go get a new one with your street address. If you can't get a license due to suspension or whatever you can still get a state issued ID card. Or if you have a passport that will usually work.

Just my observation...

I'm not understanding why you would transfer $6000 from your bank to paypal to buy something? Obviously you have a bank account tied to paypal and if the money was not in paypal for your purchase at time of purchase, it would automatically pull from your bank account seamlessly.

I think it looks to them as you are money laundering in some form moving lots of $$$ from place to place and is why the limitation.

If they would have pulled funds themselves for whatever purchase, then you'd be ok now.

LOL, you transfered $6000 into a paypal account?? That's a recipe for disaster right there. Why not just wire the money to the person or send a certified bank check? I would never use paypal to pay for a large transaction.

the fees alone would have turned me off to that idea.

Alright, listen up paypal will mess you up and make you wait even if one thing on your account is bad. Give all your info, but if your driver license doesn't match you are messed up because they will hold your funds for 180 days. So get your DL FIXED or risk being held. THE TRUTH HAS SPOKEN.
