This is a new one out of the blue buyer account only from 1 year ago.


Why is my account access limited?

What information do they want?

Just ID. Utility Bill, & it already has the SSN in there as it's a realtive but they want SSN proof. I can take care of it luckily it's not stealth. It's wierd.

That is wierd and disturbing. Why would they be bugging buyer accounts?

Do you think your buiying history raised any flags? IE..buying from your stealth sellers accounts or buying unusual stuff?

Nope I didn't buy from any of my stealth accounts or anything unusual I was just buying whatever I needed off of ebay and paying with CC. I was just getting it ready to sell maybe this is something new.

ya, I thought you pretty much got away with murder as long as you were not selling! Thats messed up. May have to ID verify dormant accounts ahead of time now while waiting to be turned into seller...

But maybe not a bad thing. Simple low end verifying may help turn account into seller down the road with less speed bumps. Records show you verified ID a few months back they might give you less grief.

This account is a year old and its the Paypal not the ebay that effected. Its also wasn't dormant I've been using it for the last 6 months

Any chance youve accidently linked it? Signed in without cleaning cookies or changing Ip?
