Limited paypal, ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name!
 

As the title says it sucks!

My friend opened a paypal account and gave the name of a transformers character. Then when it got limited he provided all the details in his name. All details from utility bills to bank statements but in his name!

Now im from India but he is from the US. He cant transfer cash since it says limited but it doesnt say anything in the withdraw screen except the name is wrong. I was first thinking make it a business account and take out a check in a companies name and then cash it at a bank but then the company needs to be in the US and i dont know how thats done. The bank account does belong to him [US bank account in the same name as the verification documents]

I read somewhere that the bank account and paypal names dont need to be the same? So should i just ask him to try to withdraw it since it doesnt tell him he cant? Is this risky? Or should i just wait 6 months and then do it?

Also since he has now submitted all his documents how should a new paypal be opened?

Is it his paypal? Get him to join the forum to get 1st hand info. It works out better in the long run to advise the holder rather than the friend.
I'm not going to tell you info to pass on because there's a big risk of the story getting muddled.

We are partners on this website and have it automated using paypal IPN. I can access the paypal now and the reason i wanted a him to open the account was it would be easier to verify etc being a US one, especially the calling and talking to them during their day time!
After i month of being limited i asked what was taking so long and then i realized the mistake! Ofcourse he will follow the thread as well

For someone who tries to on-sell others' games? Uses illegal scripts etc.
