Largest amount of money before limitation?

I just created 3 brand new stealth accountsa few days ago. I have sold one item on each of the stealth accounts; the items each sold for $110.00. Paypal did not limit me but they did apply a 21 day hold, which I'm hoping will be lifted once the buyers leave positive feedback.

My question is, what is the largest amount of money someone could send me on any one of my new stealth accounts before I get limited? I've read anywhere from $200-1000. Remember my stealth accounts are brand new; I've added VCCs to them but no bank account yet (which means I'm not verified yet); and the items I'm selling are computer programs (not really high risk...). Does anyone know exactly what the amount is for my situation?

It's a combination of the products you're selling and the amount/value of the product.
I believe it's often 500-600 but that's in a short period of time. If you start off slow then you will benefit more.
My trusty sidekick Jbuntz has more experience with this so I'll just et him go more in depth. I can't wait to hear what he has to say! :)

Yeah I would like to hear what he has to say. I really want to know if I'll get limited (given the fact that I'm new; not verified yet, and the items I'm selling) if I receive an instant payment of $200-300 dollars. I was hoping to sell an item of this value but I fear I'll get limited.

Programs

Computer programs ARE high risk by the way. Especially the ones that sell for $110.

How many you sold? how old was the account? and during what time period did you receive this amount?

I believe the problem was until you made the withdraw. How much did you withdraw?

Weird...Hmmm... I guess it was because of the item you sold...?

Blackhorse 07-12-2010 07:17 AM

It was the same as the other account - a horse blanket (but not the same one, but same brand etc).

2 of my accounts pulled in steady sales of 2-3k - always get limited on the withdraw...250 on one was a first withdrawal try - 475 on the another.

One required ID to be submitted so...being a stealth - I am fugged on ID template (WTB Canadian ID template PM $). Other just waiting on confirmation of delivery so hopefully I am good.

250 withdrawal and limited...? Geez, that's odd. Selling software huh?

rsot 07-12-2010 01:36 PM

No software actually =(

All regular electronic items and some household junk, nothing Ve Ro either - just got hit.

At least the 250 account didnt get hit with ID verify - just confirmation of shipping and such. They are waiting for item to arrive - it was shipped to a APO/FPO...I support the military but oh man, the transit times ha

Blackhorse 07-12-2010 10:15 PM

Mine isnt software either, its horse rugs!!! Definately have never been vero'd for it before, wich is why the only thing i can think of is i listed too fast, and too much of the same brand at once.

MtnDew 07-13-2010 12:03 AM

man if their hitting horse blankys blackhorse were all in trouble!!! lol

wtf? never ceases to amaze me the things they do and how they do it. Seriously?

rsot 07-13-2010 09:53 AM

I think in the case of blackhorse they just don't know wtf is a horse blanket. Doesn't classify under their normal goods and such I guess. Electronics, software, digital stuff - I can see them auto-limiting based on the category of sale as Slapped had referred.

Blackhorse 07-13-2010 04:23 PM

Tell me about it boogs!! I normally only list one or two at a time, of the same brand but i listed 11 this time, and they were all new, with starting prices of 80+.
