Used PayPal with b365

I got few ppl to send me money on my paypal ID.

it was like around 200 swedish kr.

Then I deposited that money to bet365.com

I did also use visa card to deposite some money in my b365.

I ended up making 15,000 swedish kr.

Then I tried to withdraw 5,000 kr via paypal to bank and I got this email.

Quote:

Please take the permanent limitation of your PayPal account not as a
personal affront. We are bound to follow different requirements, laws and
our own Acceptable Use Policy.
We strive to treat all customers equally.

Against this background we determined that you received gambling payments
from other PayPal users and, in turn, sent those payments to the following
website for gambling purposes bet365.com. While this website is approved
to accept payments from certain PayPal users, PayPal does not allow
intermediate accounts to receive gambling payments and use those funds to
facilitate gambling. By engaging in such transactions, you are acting as
an unapproved operator of gambling activities per the Acceptable Use Policy

I mean wtf, bet365 allows paypal as deposit and if I got few ppl to send me the money to my paypal ID which I used to b365 whats wrong in that?

Can someone help me out here, do I have a case here, what should I say to them?

This is really annoying me off, because they are not helping me and they have permanantly limited my account!

I cant believe it.

The people that sent you the money where were they from?

It might have to do with that because in many countries you cannot use Paypal to deposit to online gaming. So in paypal's eyes it thinks they are giving you the money, your depositing the $ into the gaming account then transfering the money to them or making bets for them etc. Kinda like a middle man.

They are from canada / US.

But the truth is they have nothing to do with the gambling, they were simply paying me for a service.

What should I do now.

I did email PayPal but it did not really help, I am planning to call them on Monday.

Sigh!

Rigtnow I have 20,000kr in bet365.com now and I cannot withdraw it til my PayPal is sorted so I am pretty much screwed.

Any help will be appreciated.

Paypal must think then these people used you to get around the restriction on online gambling transactions for US/Canadian residents

I would just call Paypal and let them know these people had nothing to do with it, you were just spending your own money.

bet365 doesn't allow any other withdrawl service besides paypal?

Seems pretty shady to me.

I can get out and you can play me 1vs1 in some poker, and lose it all to me. :bounce:

I promise to send you a Money Order for your time.
