I have a paypal account in my mothers name all with real info. It recently got limited after i recieved over £1200 pounds in payments. I have completed all the check lists (photo id,bank account etc) apart from confirm my location as i didnt have a landline number but i have my ex girlfriends down as primary. I have been waiting for the paypal letter to arrive by post for 3 weeks and it still isnt here. I logged into paypal and it said a paypal representative may call you shortly etc etc. They will ring my ex girlfriends landline and ask for my mother but obviously they will get told she doesn't live there. Will i ring paypal myself and let my mother talk to them? What sort of security checks will they ask becuase it is me who deals with everything and she hasnt got a clue about paypal or will i wait for this letter to arrive and input the code. I have a feeling this letter will never arrive. Also what to do if the paypal agent rings the primary number and gets a response saying its the wrong number.

The letter will get to you - you have to wait patiently. Mail takes time.

With paypal, from now on, never give a number that doesnt work. Yes you should call up Paypal and in your best feminine voice, speak with the CSR.

You have done all the needed steps - you must wait. Sad but that's the game.

The letter comes from Nebraska, you've got 2 evils USPS and Royal Mail. Make yourself comfortable while you wait.

4 weeks still no letter , what should i do give them a call?

Sadly paypal dont seem to care if you have your id as male or female and you ring up being the other!!

I rang up for a mates account as he hates speaking to those sort of people. Not once did they say they couldnt speak to me about his account because i was female. They told me everything i wanted to know...without asking for verification from him. So i was able to sort it out.

Oh and not once did i ring and say i was calling on behalf of him.. i guess they just assumed i had left the s off of Mrs and had a males name LOL.

As long as you are chatty, and not demanding, i even throw in a giggle or two (even with females, as they cant help but be friendly if you are friendly), you should be fine.
