Will refund come from paypal balance or bank account when limited?
 

I have £1500 in my account that is limited but i need to refund a buyer on ebay. If he files a dispute will they take the refund from my bank account or the balance in my paypal. Thanks

Paypal will take it from whatever they have access to. If you have money in your paypal account, they will pull it all from there, any leftover balance needed they will pull from the bank account you have on file.

If you have already withdrawn the money, then yes they may try a dip into your bank account. That being said, act as you deem fit...

They tried to take $391 out of my bank even though I had $1300 in PP. The bank account was empty though so the bank reversed the charge.

I was super happy they reversed the charge, SCREW PAYPAL!

Just empty your account but dont close it because you will need it to withdraw funds in PP in 180 days.

That's good... usually banks will charge you a big overdraft fees PER charge if that happens, so watch out.

Mine charged 19.50 on a failed withdrawal...ugh it's bad.

yea, be careful with leaving bank accounts open b/c paypal will keep trying to withdraw the money from your bank account and you'll get hit with a overdraft everytime. I learned this the hard way.
