Pay Pal Security Measures !!!!!

Hi,

I woke up this morning to a nice treat. I went to login to my pay-pal account and seen this:

"Security Measures
Some required information is missing or incomplete. Please correct your entries and try again.

Bank Account Information"

Is there anything I can do right away to solve this? Any tips?

PLEASE HELP!!!

They're just asking for banking information or what?

Maineone1 08-04-2010 10:26 AM

Yes, they're asking for my bank account number.

Is it safe to give them that?

I was drop shipping from Asia. Any help would be much appreciated, I am quite worried.

Doyou have a bank account number on file for your withdrawals? You have to give them that to stay verified..../Canada

Maineone1 08-04-2010 10:36 AM

Yes, I have two banks on file.

Is it safe to give them that information? Or will that only help them with their case?

rsot 08-04-2010 10:41 AM

It is safe if they have it on file and IF you are on the proper Paypal website...make sure about that too =)

They are getting your account re-verified and solidified so best to cooperate with them. Don't be afraid.

Uh, why are they asking for your bank account information if its already on file? I guess just give it to them again. They are already able to see it anyway, right?

Maineone1 08-04-2010 10:48 AM

I think they're trying to figure out if it was me doing all of the transactions. I wonder if I can type in my bank account from a different IP address to throw them off? (if so how can I change my IP)

Any ideas?

lakeman 08-04-2010 10:54 AM

 What are you talking about??? Why would you want to throw pp off??? :faint: Give them what they want or ditch the account.

I highly suggest you get the stealth book!!!

Give them the Same Bank info that you have on File with them, and see what happens, they may simply by trying to verify that it is Indeed you making purchases in Asia (Which By the way is a BAD Idea)

i got the same question except they started with my credit card number . i assume it is because i always log in with a different ips. here's my problem. i DID NOT record the credit card number i used (oopps). it was a vcc and i cant confirm the number or re-acquire it.

does anyone know how to get around this. i have all the other info including bank info, password reminder questions, etc. i just dont have the credit card number.

Is this something where i will likely be limited when i cant answer or has anyone gotten around this - I.e. calling and saying you no longer have the credit card?

any suggestions?

one other question. if i have to ditch the account, how easy is it to start a new account and take orders on the same website? i am guessing its a no-no.
