Limited: Asking for Photo ID, Utility Bill and Social Security Card
 

On the day I received payment for a sale I get access limited. My limit has been lifted years ago when I opened this account. Back then I submitted an ID and bank statement

now theyre asking for the same things PLUS a copy of the social security. Are they now reporting your earnings

Did you use real info? If so what's the problem? And no they wont start reporting till next year I think. Welcome to the forums. Browse a bit and catch up, and think about getting the stealth book which will answer a lot of questions you will have concerning eBay and paypal.

Nothing is constant anywhere now. paypal changes like the weather. What we did 2 years ago, is not done now.

Odd, I just got that limitation today. I tried to withdraw a small amount and they put a limitation on me. Don't know really know. Some accounts are doing fine for a straight month or so and others get limited immediately.:confused:

That is one nice thing that I like about Amazon...every 2 weeks they automatically send your funds to your bank account, so unless you go crazy and exceed their volumes, you don't raise a red flag by initiating a withdrawal

now theyre asking for a copy of a bank statement. do they really check your bank info? (or can the bank release info about you?)

im not 100% sure but i doubt they would have the time to check even if they could, which i doubt they could due to privacy

I'm really curious about this Paypal limiting accounts. This has never happened to me, but unfortunately, I'm going to have to give up my Paypal account of over 10 years and start a new one, as it is now linked to a suspended eBay account. I'm sure the new one will get 'limited'. What, exactly, does it mean to have your account limited?

What's next we send them nude pics of ourselves or maybe a video of our last colonoscopy? They'd probably find ebay up there somewhere
