How can I avoid the SSN probe?
 

Just got limited. They require SSN to credit check. Been with PP and eBay for 5 years. All was always perfect. I do about $200k per year.
They are tied into my 3 bank accounts and 4 credit cards. They obviously know that I am real.
Are they just simply requiring SSN from everybody?
How can I avoid the SSN probe?

If that's the only thing and everything else is going smoothly it might be worth it.
If they close you down, you're going to have to go stealth anyway and your ss# will be useless for those future accounts.
The other thing to consider is if you are doing that kind of volume a regular merchant account may be in order.

How did you manage that? That much money & you go limited? Something must be annoying paypal

You're in a Catch22. If this problem is big enough, it could flow on to ebay & those accounts go as well.

Are you going to resolve this?

Have no idea why I got limited.
When I read about them buying Fraud Sciences Limited about a year or so ago I knew some big changes were coming for all PayPal users.
My credit isn't so happy and I'm guessing they will shut me down post probe. Still weighing the odds/potential.
I've paid and paid fees out the wazoo. They treat me like crap and demand to snoop.
I really hope Amazon buries them.

Amazon isn't any better in suspending people.
But if it makes you feel better, Amazon's stock is worth 6x of eBay's .
