Paypal Limited, Asking for ID proof

PayPal limited my account and are asking for business/personal income tax or bank statements, would i be able to create some ⊗⊗⊗⊗ ones? that info is to personal and i don't want them knowing my bank history or my personal income, also my business is a sole proprietor.

No. Dont play that 'I dont want to be a victim role'. You've told paypal you are a business, so provide the proof. If you are truly a business they want to verify that. You blank out what they dont need to know ;)

I amended the title. paypal are asking for proof of being a business not asking how much money you make.

its not about playing the victim role, i have a legit business and nothing to hide, since you are from au you dont understand the identity issues there is in the u.s, would you provide your income to somebody thats not even a financial institution and has no business knowing how much you make? but i guess i gotta play by their rules if i want to continue my ebay business. if i blank something out maybe paypal will cry and ask me to resend the document who knows, i will try to blank out see what happens. and why you you amend my title, there was nothing wrong with it.

I don't think people in Australia have heard of identity theft yet.. its scheduled to be introduced around 2013 :croc: lol

As for the info, just take the advice and black out anything you feel they shouldn't know and see what happens. Unfortunately you are at their mercy if you wish to use paypal but as greenbean said you presented yourself as a business so you must now prove it.
