PayPal limited, can I open another one?
 

Hi,
I was one of PayPal TOP CUSTOMERS, spent over $5,000 a year, I had three physical iTunes Cards bought from a store, I no longer need them, I sold them on eBay, I heard that it's allowed since I contacted eBay before I start selling them.
After payments received, the buyers asked me to send PIN digitally instead of shipping it by mail, I accepted their request.
Then my PayPal account got limited asking for proof of delivery and invoices, I sent some invoices and told them that I sent cards digitally.
Then my PayPal account was closed, I don't why since I sent all required information.

They claimed that my account was closed permanently because they can't protect me for iTunes cards sold.

Can I open another one with a slight change in my name and using the same address (different IP, bank and card info, different phone number)?

I no longer want to sell something on eBay, I just want to use new account to buy from eBay

So appreciated.

ADD: last year I had an account and was closed for another reason, I opened a new one with the same name, address and SSN, and my new account was still active for a whole year.

Why listen to your buyers? You should have gone the extra leg and sent hard copies.

Start again if you must. I would use another address to reduce any chance of linking. If the new account gets checked then you are linked again...and you might have problems

The problem I can't use another address, I need it as shipping address to receive my goods bought from eBay

How did you manage to use the same SSN? I tried that before along time ago and it said it was already used.

As far as a new address you want to have access too, open a PO box on USPS or UPS to receive your packages.

Oh how silly of me to suggest to you, TOP PAYPAL CUSTOMER, that you get another address to help you beat them if you make another account.:boink:

I don't know, I just entered my SSN and it was accepted.
But my billing address can't be changed, it will be the same.

just open another paypal account like you say and try if it works if not then your gonna have to go stealth and get a virtual address that fowards your stuff to your real address.

If I open a new account using the same address, could it be limited immediately or later?

assuming of course..... you're going to get shut down now, wait a few weeks and repeat the same mistakes

you need to read ebay stealth :)
