Paypal limited with ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name, address etc. . .

OK I've solved paypal limitations before but this time I can't.

Got a little sloppy and sold too quick, so I've got 1500.00 limited. I can handle the 180 day wait, because there's no way I can jump through all of the paypal hoops on this one(can't re-use my ssn and already registered with all ⊗⊗⊗⊗ info). My question is this:
After 180 days can I add an address and change the name on the account so they can send the check? Am I just screwed of 1500? If so I can handle it, I've made plenty from ebay but if there's a way to save it I'd appreciate some advice.
Also should I just contact paypal now and tell them that I am not going to resolve the limitation and to start my 180 days?

yes tell them to start the 180 days. you cant change the address they will ask for proof of id.. i think you can add a different bank account and just withdraw the money that way.

it's worth a shot!

Why not open a bank account and when the 180 days is up shoot it into there? You can always close the bank account after too if you want

That's what I am going to do, but I was wondering if paypal just sends a check after 180 days or if they wait to hear from me and allow me to change the account.

Yes, you will get an email saying you can withdraw funds. At that point you can add a bank or get a check. If you dont contact them the loot will sit there forever

But dont bother changing anything. No point. Just wait for the email that you can withdraw

Thanks for the help!

oh f**k, they don't start the 180 days until you tell them you're not resolving the limitation? I've got some homework to do :ranger:

I was thinking the same thing after reading the posts above. I thought the 180 started at the date of the original limitation.

yeah me too,, i've an account well over 6 months old with a few hundred in it,, and i never tryed to resolve the limit ,,, guess i'll have to wait another 6 months

I am quite sure it's from the day your limitation is imposed so I would not worry...

GreenBean 09-24-2010 05:30 PM

paypal MUST advise you they are holding the funds for 180 days.

If you get a limitation and do not respond, the funds sit there earning interest for paypal.

A response by the account holder is required for their (2nd) response....:spy:

OK, For those wondering. . .I think the redflag on this account was the fact that I used a walmart money card checking account number. I'm 99% sure this is the reason. I have had lots of sucess previously(and then sending the money to a good account rather than depositing) but think I was probably getting lucky. The reason I know this is because of an email I got following the suspension stating that the prepaid account is not valid for paypal.
