Paypal account limited - requesting copy of ID

The only ID I have is my passport, which I used with my other paypal account that was limited two years ago. Does anyone know if Paypal saves copies or records of IDs and if they will link my new account to the old one?

They keep copies of EVERYTHING - if you old paypal account under same name was limited/closed, expect this one to go down.

That being said, you can get creative with your passport...

I am not sure people are going to want to accept that offer or admit to their creativity, on a public forum, just my opinion. Its different if you do it yourself its your passport and your account.

1. try it and send it to them so we can know if they actually do keep copies or probably have some new staff that will let you by.
