If I understand that jibberish that you wrote Correctly,,,,,Then,,,,,,,,If there are No Claims filed against you in Paypal,,,You have NOTHING to worry about,,,,The WORST Thing that can happen is that you will have to wait 180 days to be able to withdraw your money to your bank,,,,,,

This 180days sucks. I have too limited accounts, and I can get funds only after 180days. I not understand why paypal hold money so long? Why they can not release funds after 90days, or 60? Buyer is only 45 days to open case. su*ks....

They hold it for 180 days because most credit card companies allow chargebacks up to 6 months after the transaction. (FOR SOME DUMBA$$ REASON). So they do it to protect themselves from your customers. After 180 days, they are off the hook and in turn, you are too.

@vincentye4 what you wrote just hurt my eyes in terms of taking the time to write out a well though line ha.

But as Slapped says, IF no chargebacks or disputes, those funds will be clear in 180 days.

All the best

Thanks for the responses and sorry for the typo rushed it on an iPhone.
So that 90 day if you have no claims promise, and that paypal will see if I can qualify for a shorter release is all bs?

Shorter release = bs. Expect 180 days and prepare for a bonus in 6 months.

and i can electronically withdraw on to the bank account i always used?

"Usually" is quite a large term - but yes, in most cases, nothing changes - as long as you don't get linked to old account with fees due and what not. You can withdraw to the bank account attached to your paypal.

Shorter release happens, if you call them after 45 days, not all your funds, for example one account with around 20,000 dollars on it, after 45 - 50 days, all I got back is 3,000 which is nothing, the rest after 180 days. It is not worth the time, just wait 180 days.

For shorter terms, you need to file better business report on paypal, they will respond and work with you otherwise if you call paypal after this time nothing happens, only if you file official better business report or FIB report they respond within 3 days, their executive stuff will handle your case, then again from 10,000 you are looking at around 1,500 thousand released not more then that.

do i need to file with bbb actually, or do i just email the executives telling them that i would file to bbb?
also, is filing to bbb a difficult thing to do? what should i be including?

and has anyone got say a partial amount prior to the 180 days. it has been 80 days or so already after being limited.

Paypal policy to hold your funds for 180 days, they claim they need to do this in order protect themselves against chargebacks from credit card companies.
Well how about the fact that they only allow chargebacks for 45 days, and many payments are made from funds not associated with credit cards, so as far as I am concerned it is still just a license to steal your money!

today i recieved this when i emailed them:

I understand that you would like to access the funds on the account. I
have carefully reviewed the limitation case and I see here from one of
the feedbacks we received from our account specialist that the funds
will be accessible for withdrawal on "some day next month." However, this
may change if in case there was a chargeback or dispute filed by the
buyer. Rest assured that once the funds are ready to be withdrawn we
will have you informed.

so i am getting my money in 90 days on one account!
i hope they are not lieing right, i sent them an email to the exceutives and their resposne was within a day.
let me know.

on the other account, i recieved no response, but another automated email regarding the "parting ways". awkward.

i will update you guys.

thanks!

So you telling me your making 10k I wish I was doing that lol but for real if I could give people any kind of advice it would be to stay away from paypal especially if you making 10k.
you should have a merchant account paypal loves that your making that much cause they are looking for any little reason to limit you and hold your money I learned that the hard way. I only had about $700 In my paypal account you have 10k I would thank paypal for making me learn my lesson now.
I would never use or recommend paypal to anybody I'm just doing hardcore research on other payment options and a merchant account.. Use this time to do research move past paypal people!!!

Hopefully everything works out for you and one day I want 10k in my account lol
