Just Got Limited!

Hey guys,

I just got limited by paypal, I was selling somethings on eBay and the payments were going to my PayPal account. The problem with my PayPal is that it is a personal account and I think this triggered the problem. My eBay account also got suspended because of this limitation on PayPal.

The reason I got limited was because when I received the payments I send them straight to my supplier through PayPal and this was the reason as PayPal may have thought both accounts were owned by me.

PayPal are now asking for the following:

Photo ID (Passport, Driving License or National Identity Card)
Provide Invoices
Validate your account information
Provide proof of delivery

Please can someone help me out here as to what I should do.

Cheers!

Big Mistake, once you receive funds you should not send it over right away. Need more details:

1. How old is the account?
2. Roughly what is the average value of each payment and the last payment you received?
3. Do you have tracking for your item?
4. Is this stealth or real?

Only two things you can do:

Somehow Give them:
Photo ID (Passport, Driving License or National Identity Card)
Provide Invoices
Validate your account information
Provide proof of delivery

Then hope for the best!

OR ignore the account, make a new stealth account and wait 180 days for whatever money PP is holding on to.

At least they did not ask for whatever the equivalent of a SSN is in the UK.

NEVER pay for your product from a supplier from the same PP account you receive payments for those items from eBay. (if that makes sense)

Okay a different way of saying it:

Don't use the same money you get from people on eBay to buy the products you just sold to them. It looks like you don't have actual possession of the products.

1. The eBay account is about 7 months old.
2. I do not know the average as I didn't sell much that was high value until now and the last payment i received was £89.99
3. No, as I started drop shipping business I buy the item when the seller pays me the money and the item would be delivered.
4. This is my real account with legit details.

Cheers!

I do drop shipping business so this is how you do business, when a product sells they make the payment to me, then I send the supplier money for the item and the rest is profit.

Cheers

You should send money from source other than your sales account. I would recommend using credit card to protect yourself.

But as others have stated, you need to submit the documentation or let the account with your funds held for 180 days.

Welcome to the forum - hope to see you contributing =)

Hi,

Yes I think credit card would be a good thing to do, as it is a legit account I think I should sort it out as keeping this account will be valuable to me.

Thats your problem, u can not pay suppliers from your PayPal. Anyhow what you need to do is supply the docs that they have asked for and you will be ok.
