Anyways, you can either wait the 180 days. Or call and speak with someone higher up, to see if they will let bypass the SSN. |

There is no magic answer. You can try talk them out of it and if they insist you have to wait 6 months. Some people have gotten around it, but I think those days are over |
| lakeman | 10-18-2010 09:17 PM | So then why are you asking what to do if you already know????:faint:
BTW, I know a few people that HAVE bypassed the SSN by calling. |

| hitch | 10-21-2010 07:34 PM | I've tried to fight the non SS limitation a number of times and have never one.
I've supplied invoices, util bills everything.
One time I came close to beating it. I gave them an EIN number.. they unlimited the account for about a day, then it was limited again.
I now have an account with a SS# attached to it. I think soon, everyone (in US atleast) that plans on using paypal to accept X amount of money will have to supply a SS#.
X is an undetermined amount of money received. |
| holymoly | 10-22-2010 02:47 AM | You have to be EXTREMELY NICE when talking to them if you want to bypass SSN, otherwise ⊗⊗⊗⊗ something and tell them you are DEATHLY afraid of anyone having your SSN and you haven't ever told a SOUL except the US GOVERNMENT...hahha, might believe it. |

Not only do you have to be extremely nice, but you have to be even luckier.
I had a lady on the phone we were talking about everything, weather, location, what she liked to do, i had her joking around I really thought I was golden. But she wouldn't budge on the social. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 05:18 AM. | |
