I bought yesterday "Ebay stealth" book, great, read everything within 1 night. Really helpful and easy to understand even for "dummies" :thumb:
one only thing, can not understand wart type of internet I (my husband) got. We use Virgin broadband, so as I was told by my husband, it is cable goes to router, and everything connected to modem and laptops connected to modem (Belkin)-also wi-fi for our laptops and phones)Does anybody know what type of internet I use?
What is router setup page?
if I do not hava routers manual to find its ip address?

Typically if you go into your browser and type into the address 192.168.1.1 , that should take you to your router settings. Also you can do a quick google search to figure out how to set up your brand of router.

just look on the back of your router, it should show you the log in detais

it might be 192.168.0.1 - name admin password blank

i had this set up not so long ago, i remeber it taking me a hour or two to figure out how to change the I.P so i swapped the router for a netgear

A better thing to do is change the mac as it changes the ip, you can also control what i.p's you get, so you can go back and forth if needs be.

you need to be connected to the router or modem with cable

you can change the mac with something like

Technitium MAC Address Changer v5 Release 3 (FREEWARE)

or find a cracked version of SMAC what ever you find best.

what is strange....tried all difficult things, downlouded couple things on my aptop...useless.....
connected routers cable directly to comp, exluded wireless modem, switched off/onn and TA-TA!!!
ip changed!
