Paypal Account Limited
 

Just today Paypal asked me to submit these info:

1) Photo ID
2) Proof of Address
3) Provide Invoices
4) Supplier Contact Info
5) Provide Business info
6) Provide Proof of Delivery

The eBay account linked to this is still working. I was able to provide #2,3,4,5,6 but I'm a little reluctant to provide #1. My photo id corresponds with the registered address on Paypal, but I might have used it before for an account that got suspended. What should I do here? I'm curious if I even need to send in my photo id if I'm able to send 5/6 information.

I sold a bunch of high-end stuff in a matter of days, so I'm not totally surprised if they wanted to check up on me. I've had this account for about a year, maybe longer like a 1.5, and never had any major problems. I resolve all of disputes and I also refund people when required.

Yes you will need to supply everything that they asked for in hopes of getting the account back. As for the ID request is the account in your name? And if so have you ever had a Paypal account limited before? If you have then you will not get the account back that is limited right now.

im not comfortable sending in my photo id unless i alter the name a little. any idea if Paypal can read driver license number? i'm guessing all they're looking for is the name rather than the dl# right?

Don't bother, I did all this and more only for Paypal to deny the appeal 12 hours later. This request for information is a crock of s**t and is a way for them to get more information from you. FWIW I was 100% feedback registered since '02, and never been limited before.

You can block out the DL #, it's not odd.

yeah, i might do that. i just don't want them to see my DL# but everything else should be cool.
