Creating a business Paypal account from the get go and you won't have any limitations towards you Paypal account for the most part.

k1ley4evr 02-12-2008 11:21 AM

really aspkin? perhaps i should try that. is it possible to just add a bank account and no creditcard?

aspkin 02-12-2008 11:23 AM

Yes, but that's why there are prepaid cards. Paypal accepts most cards.

koalawash 02-12-2008 12:27 PM

"business" or would premier do the trick?

twdell 02-12-2008 12:38 PM

so if you open a business account they won't ask for a ss#?

aspkin 02-12-2008 01:35 PM

They'll always ask for a SS# after you do a certain number of $ per day. I got hit with the SS# limit when my business account surpassed $1500 a day average.

But as long as you're verified and confirmed, you won't be limited because of that later on. That's why more Paypal accounts are limited in the first place.

Having a business account is okay, it probably won't do much more for you. But being verified and confirmed BEFORE you start any major transactions will save you a lot of trouble later on. Try it.

twdell 02-12-2008 01:41 PM

i verified and confirmed my newer premier paypal account that had all legit info from a family member and the *******s still limited me. i only took in like $800 over a 2 week period.

now they're asking for the same information over and over again that i have already told them i cannot supply. they ask for bank and credit card statements that do not exist, because no paper documents are given. it is all online.

you can't even speak to anyone. all you can speak to is a mindless drone who has auto responses ready for any question you may have. it just keeps going into review, and then they end up asking for the same info i already supplied. you have to wait for the review email, and i know that it's gonna be another day of waiting, because they want more info! it just makes me sick.

I disagree, actually it will not because once your verified it means you can move out your money. I did some test and the accounts that had no bank account added almost never got limited when taking in about $500 per week. But the ones that get confirmed before taking money gets limited right away..

That doesn't make sense. Why would Paypal limit your account for adding a bank account to it?

Chris Hanson 02-12-2008 02:39 PM

Because you can withdrawl money that way. No bank account means the money stay in the system..

aspkin 02-12-2008 02:53 PM

Bah! :)

.

twdell 02-12-2008 03:21 PM

i've sent in some documents with "adjusted" info on them. i'm doing it the olf fashioned way though. actually clipping and taping over names and address. i'm about to send in some bank info now.

ebayhateluv 02-12-2008 06:05 PM

Chris:
have u ran any amt of volume through these accts with no ck acct?
and what do u do with the funds then?
whats the point of the funds sitting in the acct?
-- I use mine- in and out like a check book, debits/ credits..
+ are you using brand new pp accts or are these tenured? 5,6,7 yr old accts, as this doesnt make sense.. ???
(btw- $500 is no volume, 1 or 2 sales at times)

Chris Hanson 02-12-2008 06:41 PM

Sharing die hard info publicly "NEVER"

Giving general ideals "ALWAYS"

Have you read the threads on supplying documents? You CAN supply them....you have to be creative!

Yes, you can speak to someone, but that is NOT advised. Handle it via email if at all possible. If you're sure you have a phone # that is good to call them from....ask for a resolution manager. They have Major authority compared to the people you normally talk to! Tell them your baby's sick and you need to go to the pharmacy. ( Don't laugh, I did that a year ago and the resolution manager released a hold on $800 while I was on the phone with her!) I ran to the car, sped to the nearest ATM and emptied the paypal account! :D

coolandcalm 02-12-2008 07:22 PM

ebayvictim, i love it! I gotta save that little trick for the next time they limit with funds in the account.

twdell 02-12-2008 07:24 PM

that's good advice. i will try that and try to get a resolution manager on the phone. the baby's sick thing sounds good too. i'll throw that little tidbit in there too.

twdell 02-12-2008 09:23 PM

was just on the phone with another paypal drone phone operator, then i took ebayvistims advice about speaking to a resolution manager. after getting the run around from the operators i think i may have finally got somewhere. the manager is calling me back to maybe reinstate my account tonight without going through another day of painful review process. will post how it goes in a little while.

twdell 02-12-2008 09:37 PM

success! if they are giving you hassle, talk to a resolution manager. you can actually get some where with them. he looked at my acount and saw i did all the steps they ask, and he reinstated my account. suck on that paypal!

ebayvictim 02-12-2008 10:14 PM

Thank you Thank you.....oh wait, I'm being vain! ROFL!

Good for YOU! I'm happy it worked!!!!!
