Paypal invoices for eBay to get around holds?

I have new eBay & Paypal accounts and because of this my payments are held up by Paypal, which limits what I can sell at the moment. Right now, I am selling items that are low cost and digitally delivered so that I can build up my feedback, but I want to sell some more expensive stuff and have it dropshipped to my customers.

Catch 22: I need the funds from the sale to pay for the items that I am to have dropshipped, but I can't have that money until the item has been delivered.

I do know that Paypal releases funds as soon as the buyer leaves good feedback at eBay, but nobody is going to leave feedback for an item that they have yet to receive.

I am wondering if there are any ways around the holds. Could I take the payment methods off and bill them via email or will Paypal still hold the funds?

Oh and my accounts are real. I already voluntarily did "phone verification" with eBay to raise my seller limits.

No ways around the holds bud...less they leave positive feedback.

If you bill them and they accept, it would help with the holds. But there is also caveat with the amount they pay - if high, expect Pa yp al to ask for more info...

One way I found and have read about on the ebay forums is to have money in your paypal account at all times... 100+ is a good amount. You will still get holds but it will be very few holds.

I sell some expensive stuff and they hold all of the time for it, so I am screwed there. All I need is the first 10 or so sales and then I will have enough money in Paypal that holds won't be a bother because I will keep a few grand in PP at all times.

As far as "more info" from PP, I have a normal (non-stealth) account and would be happy to give them whatever info that they want short of my SSN.
I have an EIN for that when they ask.
