Paypal and ebay suspension - PLEASE HELP

Hello,
I recently became a business user on ebay selling electronics (netbooks etc). All was fine until I received a limitation on my paypal account where they asked for confirmation of bank details, supplier info, photo ID, proof of delivery, business and personal info. I did everything except send photo ID and proof of delivery, and before I knew it both ebay and paypal were suspended. Now buyer disputes have opened up all over the shop.

Upon asking paypal of this decision they state:

> Thank you for contacting PayPal regarding the photo ID that you need to
> submit.
>
> We have reviewed your account and I can see that it would not be
> necessary for you to provide the documents. After reviewing your
> account, we have decided to close it because of security issues.
>
> I would also like to assure you that this was purely a business decision
> that was made, and we are in no way accusing you of any wrongdoing. We
> are limited in the detail that we can discuss with you surrounding our
> decision, but I can advise that we will have taken factors into account
> factors such as the number of buyer disputes, the types of product being
> sold as well as your ability to provide documentation to us in order to
> verify your PayPal account activity and financial details, to name but a
> few.

What the hell? I had no buyer disputes up until this point, 1000s of other sellers have my products on ebay, I verified my financial details successfully, I had 100% feedback on ebay.

What can I do?
Many thanks

Were you\are you unable to provide photo ID & proof of delivery?

I am unable to provide photo ID but I do have proof of delivery, they just closed my account before I even had chance to put the details in

IF they have closed your account, they have deemed your electronics too risky for them. Yes it sucks that other people can sell the same thing - open up more accounts and move your wares.

yeah that sucks typical paypal!

Go Stealth! Good luck!

Thanks for the response.

What are the basics of this stealth method? If I were to open up a new account selling the same thing, what's to stop them closing again?

Theres too much to write on one thread here and I doubt anyone will do this for you.

Best thing to do it buy the stealth guide where it is all set out in an easy format for you to read and take in. Make sure you read it several times then come back to the forum with any questions you may have.

OK will do.

The buyers are slowly closing their cases as they are happy with the items I've posted. Will paypal not even consider this as my being a trustworthy user?

i am in a similar boat. my question is should i still send out the remaining products that i owe customers or just give them a refund? it seems like once you are limited, it is unlikely you are going to get that reversed. so rather than spend 200 in shipping for the last few things i need to send, it seems i would be better of to just refund them the money from my limited paypal. thoughts?

From my experience I have found it better to stop shipping once the account is limited, or shut down.

Since you won't see any of that paypal money for 6 months, there's no sense in spending the shipping fees. If you keep the items, you can still sell them again on your new account.

Plus, if those buyers are mad, the feedback means nothing at this point either.

What if failing to ship out means a negative paypal balance? Can I avoid settling the negative amount? How will the buyer receive a refund if there's no money in the account?

I disagree. I say ship the items using ebay shipping and get your money after 6 months. Since they already limited your account and will hold your money for 6 months, if you don't ship the items, the buyers will open cases and paypal will use that money to refund the buyers. On top if that, the buyers shouldn't have to wait for items that they paid. That is not fair to them.
