after 180 days, able to withdraw funds, what about new checking account?
 

I just had a paypal limited account unlimit itself after 180 days and the funds are available for withdrawal now, however, I am afraid to link another checking account to withdraw these funds because I have a balance of 500 with ebay and I dont want ebay to try to take the 500 from my new linked checking account. Will ebay try to take the 500? because it sees I have linked a new active checking account? Theres no way I can close this new banking account either its a friends

I've read somewhere on the forum that PayPal has gotten sewed for taking out money from people's bank accounts. So they do not any more. I'm not 100% sure on this.

Can anyone confirm this?

they cannot take money from your bank account... but if that bank account is associated with another paypal or ebay then expect to get limited on that other account also

Paypal can and will take money from your bank account, paypal tried to take $32 from a account I had used when I signed up with them late last year. The payment did not go through because there was no balance on the account. Always transfer money from that account into another account not tied to paypal.

The account was only used for one ebay/paypal account under my real info.

Once an account is done for pa yp al, speak to your bank to avoid automatic withdrawals by pa yp al - there is usually a way.
