Had same trouble with google checkout recently. Do what they want, but change your information to your real information. Don't have to provide supplier information because you are selling things from your closet.

Thanks guys.

I should mention that you are able to sign checks over. For anyone that doesn't know how to do this, you do a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ signature of the recipient. Below that you write "Pay to the order of <Your name in print letters>" and then below that you sign your name. Most banks will allow you to deposit the check into your account without a hassle. I do an ATM deposit so they don't have the chance to say no face to face. If they send it back to you, try another bank. Also, it might help to make a friend out of one of the tellers at the bank. It is up to the banks discretion to accept or reject a signed-over check, not something set in stone.

If that wasn't clear here is how the back of check would look if the check was made out to John Doe and your real name is Sara James:

John Doe (signature)
Pay to the order of Sara James (in print)
Sara James (signature)

why not have them send it to your bank account. I don't know if its a recent change or anything but a year ago i had mine and 3 paypal accounts all limited in relatives names. All the refunds came in 180 days and deposited in each bank account. No check and no hassles.

Default Has anyone had more than 50k lock on a limited single account and waited 180 Days

Just wondering cause my frozen pp has 60k first it was like 65k after so many fraud buyers file for charge back ended at 60k well the reason I ask is cause its a large amount don't want any surprise after the 180 days is it better for them to deposit in account with all real info or request a check? Also any advice around this for tax purpose. I see members here have a way around Uncle Sam but all my info with pp are real + ss.Thanks Folks

Why on earth would anyone allow it to build up to 60k? That is like handing them your money and allowing them to make interest on it and not you.
If you are smart enough to turn enough stuff over to have 60k in a pp account you should be smart enough not to ever let it grow to that amount.
Not a slam, but man, that is totally insane knowing pp.

Well my problem was first you know that there are different types of limitation mine was limited but was still able to accept payments so I told myself I got to make these sales asap and if I sent them the require documents chance were 50/50 either lift limitation or Completely ban me from taking payments at all ,ok so I told my self no fax yet cause selling like crazy let me build it up asap ,I was shipping all goods out sending them with green slip tracking so they think twice before filling a claim anyway since I was limited but still able to receive payments like four dispute came in and that was it complete limitation not able to receive more payments so after a 5 weeks of first limitation i sent all require documents only to fine out that they no longer want to do any business with me so now waiting for 180 days. Remember after limitation and still able to receive payments you cant move that money your stuck..

You see the problem was at the time this happen I Had no choice I had 3 powerseller accounts over 2k feedback on each 98% so when pp limited me I did not have Merchant account set up as a back up because everything was fine with pp until one day I try to send money to another pp account we both ended up limited but my pp still allowed me to receive money so what have you done in this case sell and only receive Checks and money orders or just let it build up because somehow they have to give you your money ,Funny because I didn't know about the 180 days thought it would be much sooner ,Now Had I not accepted pp my check after 180 days 9k now ask me why still 9k in paypal well not much you can do when one day you got 1k then all of sudden crazy sales 9k then limited comes in play my limitation happen when I try to move 7k to another account so stupid I know.

Like I said before it was let it build up or Nothing..meaning just stop taking pp period tell me imjustme what have you done in my shoes limited pp but still able to receive pp payments do you lose those sales and just accept money orders checks tell me what have you done remember I was not expecting the limitation because my pp account was 5 years old and had to send all require documents only on my first year now it may sound like April fools but believe me, had I knowed that if I sent 7k to another pp this will trigger limitation sure I would have never done such a move,,You see I never thought about Merchant set up because everything was fine with pp for 5 good straight years.....just got me of guard my only defense was continue selling and ship the goods worry about loot later and the reason that everthing went well was because when I listed my items with ebay I never used my main pp email addy so I guess Ebay didnt even know I was limited or I cant explain my self but I was still able to relist and sell....

After many years dealing with pp I learn never to used the main pp email addy with your listings don't know but for some reason like a couple of years back my friend got limited pp he had like 5 eBay to one pp but he always used his main email on pp so what he told me was that he wasn't able to relist with any 5 eBay accounts until he fixes his pp so from there on I just added email from eBay to pp I say never use your main Paypal email to list with multiple Ebay accounts .

*drops dead*

Ok, I'm back up. I still can't believe you left 50k in an online account. I never even leave that much in a true bank account. Seriously!

Guy's believe me or not the only thing I can says is I don't know about you but if I ever get a pp account with limitation with the option of still able to receive payments and eBay allows me to list without any problems yes I going to build it up thats money in the bank 180 days so what you get your funds anyway..Now with 08 accounts tight security dont know about this sending ⊗⊗⊗⊗ documents in to have pp account limitation lifted with all ⊗⊗⊗⊗ info on pp its not going to be easy .
