Letter from paypal

Quote:

The PayPal Acceptable Use Policy requires merchants involved in gaming
activities, including games of skill, to receive approval for such
transactions. The business conducted at your website
*** is covered by this policy, and we therefore require
additional information to ensure your transactions are in compliance with
both legal and credit card association regulations.

To facilitate this review of your business, we request that you provide:
(1) an independent legal opinion stating why the games available on your
website are not considered gambling activities in the jurisdictions they
are offered – please note that the document must be letter headed -; and
(2) the methods you employ to block users from jurisdictions where playing
non-gambling related games for money is prohibited.

You will need to provide this information within the next 30 days to avoid
a limitation or closure of your account. *Once we receive these documents,
we will conduct a full review of your business model and inform you as to
whether you are approved to continue using PayPal on your website. *If you
do receive approval, PayPal will block all MasterCard-funded transactions
to comply with industry requirements.

I have a gaming site that lets people use real money to buy credits. They can also win cash back. There are a ton of other sites around like mine so I'm positive that I'm not breaking the TOS.

I just wanted to ask how should my reply look? I don't get the "letter headed" part. What does it mean? I've got 4 days left to reply.

Letter headed means that you must have some kind of registered address and name for your company and its operations.

As for the methods you employ...well that's up to you. Best to make EVERYTHING look nice and professional - make it look as if you have a legal department lawyer involved.

All the best.

Not to sound arrogant (and yes other people would know what comes next ha), but I deal with a lot of communication and am itching to help ...if my cut % is well paid =)

Thanks for the advice.

One more question. How should I address paypal? I guess My address followed by theirs, which is?
