Withdrawing Money from Limited Paypal
 

Hi
Yesterday my paypal with $150 in it got limited totally out of the blue. Now I cannot unlimit it currently, so can I ask for them to close my account? Also, am I right in saying that the 180 days starts from the day of it being limited?

The other option I could take is asking the person who sent me about $110 to open a chargeback case (since I cannot refund when limited), do you think this is a good idea? I don't know how long this method would take, but the plan would be to get the sender their money back and then transfer to another account.

If you phone Paypal and give them the details they will handle the refund. Be careful about having a payment made into another account. Paypal are not idiots (even if they act like it most of the time) You could well see a second account get limited

Yeah I don't really want to go down the refund route. Can I quicken up the closing up process? or do I have to wait 180 days from when it was limited?

And it's USD because I do some online trading so I have multiple currencies.

You should contact PayPal email and phone, after 45 days and 90 days, their is a small chance they will release your funds early.

You can refund with a limited account, if you are having trouble, contact PayPal and they will assist you.
