paypal put down 50% rolling reserve on my friend's account

My friend's account got hit by 50% rolling reserve. He's been doing great. Don't know why. He didn't receive any emails but just saw it when logged into his account: 50% rolling reserve for 90 days!

That's killing! Anybody heard of this before?

I got 5% rolling reserve but 50% is definitely destroying his business.

Is he selling high risk items? Most likely the reason or he's received to many claims & disputes.

While it's a pain, I would consider it much better than permanent limitation with inability to use the account and waiting for all funds to clear 180 days.

Being in existence for 19 months or longer. It's rather high though.

To have that HIGH an amount, he's raking in the money for them to do it.

Still if he's a friend, he can join the forum for advice. Does not come via third party
