paypal ssn

i got limited and they had asked me to link a credit card ,i did it they called and removed limitation .then relimited the account . now want id and ssn and proof of delivery . so i did all but ssn and then they asked me for the last four digits of ssn i said no and they said wait 180 days .

so my question can they check last four digits of your ssn if they dont even have number listed ..

They need your full ssn to be of any verification use. Last four digits is just for paper-sake.

So if they ask for Social, all they want is the last 4 and nothing can be verified?
