| | | 2003pinkpoodle | 06-13-2011 04:15 PM | 3 accounts limited within 1.5 week??? VeRo What the HELL gives...All accounts are fully verified accounts. With all real information...what is happening...Im not new to this...I bought stealth guide over 1 year ago...Ive been going along just fine...now all of a sudden I cant keep an account. Im selling Vero...BUT 100% Authentic Vero on Ebay...Any answers for what may be happening? |
| GrannyT | 06-13-2011 04:17 PM | You're selling Vero - your competitors don't like you |
Could be true that this particular vero item is now recently heavily flagged for take down - could be due to other sellers causing problem with this/these items... |
| GrannyT | 06-13-2011 04:38 PM | Don't sell vero or ⊗⊗⊗⊗ - I keep saying it but no ones listening - this is not a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ forum - it's a stealth forum!! (over to you ShadyOne):doh::D:doh: |
| ShadyOne | 06-13-2011 05:23 PM | You name dropping again GT!
I just agree with what has been said, it is speculation but the OP hasn't given much to go on.
The fact that the OP has mentioned "Vero" in their post but no other sort of info, sort of gives you the impression that they know what might be the problem. Nothing wrong with selling branded items, just when someone says "Vero", they usually mean "High Risk".
But could be many things. |
| newjerseymax | 06-13-2011 06:44 PM | Original poster stated that he sell Vero, but real... If it is real then should have invoices... Is this what they are asking for? |
| 2003pinkpoodle | 06-13-2011 11:01 PM | They are asking for everything....I got slammed once on an item worth $1500 dollars...lost my money and my item....so now i try to move my money befor I ship my item...I haf been going along just fine...no issues with yhe customers...its paypal....ugh. |
| ShadyOne | 06-14-2011 03:37 PM | The OP still hasn't posted the reason PayPal has limited their account and what PayPal want. Easy to assume but would make everyones life easier with more info.
Good luck pinkypoodle |

That just means you have no idea the real meaning of VERO.
Please research this on ebay and understand what VERO is and means.
It is NOT ⊗⊗⊗⊗ items or items that re not legit. It is items that you have no permission to sell by the rights owner. Regardless of how you get them or how legit they are. |
| stillselling | 06-14-2011 09:17 PM | While the OP is looking up VERO, you should read up on the First Sale Doctrine. We have the right to sell anything we legally own. Last time I checked, we don't have to speak French. |
| JRYAN34 | 06-14-2011 09:58 PM | Dont list all your vero items at once |
| ShadyOne | 06-15-2011 03:42 PM | ^ Yes but just because you own an authentic item, does not mean things are smooth selling it on eBay. Other outlets may be fine. |

Ebay controls anything and everything.
Even if you own it you have the right to sell it but not on ebay. If they dont want it on their site it will be gone.
Someone here said the same thing about a pair of used limited edition Air Jordons and the next thing you know they posted the account went down.
Face it, ebay controls everything, we just have to be smart enough to follow their rules. :thumb: |

| Its their world so if we want to enter we are gonna have to abide by thier rules and realistically, there is nothing the average bayer can do about it.
Lets face it. We make $ because of them. Personally, without them, I would have to struggle in life... so thanks eb (for making me send you my real id only to say 'go away') :) (lol to himself) |
| FandangoKango | 06-21-2011 08:35 PM | I have a strong vero ebay and paypal account that has been going good for 6 months and its still good. It might not last a long time more, but just letting you know you can do it too. |
| newjerseymax | 06-21-2011 11:25 PM | Once in a while it does work to ask permission to Vero prior to listing. I did this with the snuggies. They asked me for pictures of every side and then name of my supplier. Vero was asking this not ebay. They approved! After that I went buck wild with snuggies and sold them entire winter... about 10-20 a day @ 100% profit It was great! Everyone in family was wearing them... I had giant boxes filled allover the house delivered by semi truck. Sold them on Amazon too, but was never restricted or asked anything. |

| stillselling | 06-22-2011 09:53 AM | Can't say I'm suprised by the responses. But if you're preaching to the choir, you'll get a lot of agreements. It doesn't make you right, it just means you have a bunch of blind followers.
Rather than wasting time on this, I'll state the last 3 points I'll make on the subject.
1. eB corporate policies in the U.S. cannot supersede settled US Federal Law.
2. eB has a list of banned/restricted items, all of which are restricted because of gov. regulations and not demands by the rights owners. Go find it, and read it. Would it suprise you if I were to tell you eB wants to help you with copyrighted materials? Go find their step by step instructions on how to list those.
3. Someone will invariably say that eB can just ban everyone from selling a particular brand/item. Yes, that's true, but it will not happen. Almost everything listed on eB has copyright/trademark that belongs to a 3rd party. If eb start banning for copyright claims it will go down a slippery slope at the end of which is the end of eB. Tiffany's v. eB. read about it and LEARN.
So keep high 5'ing yourself everytime someone says it's eB's rules or else. I don't mind it if that means less competitions for me. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 12:53 PM. | |
