Paypal Limited - Credit Card Purchase Query
 

Ok so as some of you might know, I am trying to sort out my limited paypal account.

I bought a new mobile phone using my credit card. My account was limited the evening of the purchase and although funds are showing as being debited from my credit card, they are still on hold. Does anyone know if the seller will have an option on her side to return or refund this payment even if it hasn't cleared on her side and if its possible to do this than where does the money go to - does it automatically be returned back onto my credit card or will it be refunded into paypal? With a bank account etc, I've seen refunds having to be credited into paypal and then u have to debit these out into your bank account but am not too sure what way a credit card works. Am wondering this as I don't want to have to wait the 180 days for the funds to be released.

On another query, I sold my iphone and the funds went into my limited account. I can't see anywhere to refund the buyer to get him to pay me to a different paypal account. Have looked and searched all the options on paypal. Anyone know how to do this?

1. If the seller has not received the funds, they will be likely put back in your pp account - double screw you over by not refunding your cc card sometimes.

2. To refund the buyer, you will have to call up pp and ask an agent to do it if you don't see the option available.

What would happen if I was to remove the credit card from paypal? can you do this when the account is limited? would the transaction be cancelled then which funds are currently being held for??

I don't think you can change much information on paypal during limitation.
