adding bank account to PP & general questions...
 

Ok... First let me say that I have purchased the Stealth book, I use Apple, so I am waiting on my order to be confirmed by Aspkin & the hard copy sent my way... I have read through a lot of threads on here... I still have a very important question.

I am purchasing a seller & pp account. both are verified. Done. Now, if I go to my bank & open an account, am I going to be able to add that to the PP and w/d my funds? I tried adding a greendot card from Walmart that actually has an account & routing # and when I tried to w/d money to it, PP removed the card stating prepaid cards like that are not allowed. This was on an old PP account a year ago

My question is this, I have the accounts in one name, I add my bank acct to the PP and will all be well? I have read that PP cannot see the name on the bank accounts...

Apologies if people think this is redundant or stupid but I really need to know if I have a chance here and I cannot read the Stealth book as I do not have it yet.

Any help I would be grateful for and I am also a Mac user so anyone else in the same boat, help would be appreciated. THANK YOU! I also need to know about changing my IP on my mac... I called my ISP they told me that it changes on it's own as long as I disconnect the router or EB may have me locked by my MAC number... So much info I am SO CONFUSED.

Welcome to the forums. Good that you have the guide. The bank account is not an issue - most banks will accept deposits in different names.

Which bank you working with?

Ok thank you very much, both of you. The bank I use is a local credit union, I have used it before for PP deposits I just need to get another one since it is already tied to a limited PP account. I just wanted to make sure it was possible before I went and got another acct #

If I create a new user account on my Macintosh like I've seen people in here doing on Windows, will that help me with the stealth aspect? I called my ISP today they said that I have a dynamic IP and that it changes on it's own. Could ebay be linking my accounts from before thru my router? They shut down mine and anyone else's I had access to from this computer. If I unhook my router and create a new user would I be ok then?

Sorry OP - I haven't had a MAC since I had a 'proper job' 13 years ago - I'm sure someone will be along soon who does know - (I miss my mac though!!)

I think that MAC's have issues creating multiple user profiles... Not sure though. I imagine that a windows emulator would work nicely...
