UK VBA Accounts - Possible?
 

Hi guys, I am one of the younger members joining the stealth movement and I am finding the whole bank account method quite long winded.

Is there any alternative to opening an account with your local bank?
Is there any VBA type accounts in the UK?
I recently set up my online Barc lays e-saver but I am not sure if the evil PP will accept this.


Also, say for instance Paypal had all your ID and proof of address on record, can they still limit your account??

Yes of course paypal can/will/do limit even if every piece of info is supplied. :pop2:

Its a Barclay-s esaver account.
To be honest, it does have the option to set up standing orders and direct debits, so hopefully it will work.

If they do it is very useful, you can have a maximum of 3 and set them up with a click of a button.

I have bad experience with Barclays saver... it was added to PP without problem, after 2 days successfully confirmed with deposits, I already was very glad, but after 5-6 days bank account was cancelled and removed from Paypal. Interesting, that account was not limited, only bank account removed.

But barcalys current account of course, stay fine.

Bank Account was cancelled? You mean to say Barclays cancelled the saver account? Or it was just simply rejected?

Known for the account to be cancelled. paypal generate the cancellation...:pop2:
