No you cannot re-use a bank account.
Need a new bank account for each PP.
That technique works on Amazon though! |

Think about it: 2 stealth accounts supposedly different and you lump them together with the same bank account. What do you reckon paypal will do?
Hold the funds on the 2nd account that's what:doh: |
guys,lol
i thought the op just wanted to withdraw from pp accounts after the 180 days
not up & running accounts,LIMITED ACCOUNTS!
GB,i didnt think they could keep your money just because you got linked
so anytime your account gets limited for been linked to a banned account they can keep your money??? |
GreenBean | 08-01-2011 07:08 PM | paypal have 'form' for disallowing transfer of funds EVEN after the 180 days are up.
So I would prefer to advise users to not link accounts by re-use of a bank account.
Those final payouts come from T&S. They are vigilant to the last minute with releasing finds. Overseas users have had this happen. And that's one user too many to lose money
It is an action paypal take under their nefarious pretense of caring. |

give me a break:fight:
i know that each pp account needs a new bank account and if you add one to two pp accounts you will be linked, bread & butter stealth that mate
its not really the most detailed question issit???
the op is talking about withdrawing from two pp accounts which have both reached the 180 days
could be wrong though as i said, the question is not totally clear |

but, what about if you get linked in some other way,do they do it then too? |
ruto10 | 08-01-2011 07:29 PM | let me clarify.
I have two PP accounts that the 180 days are up and received email that i can withdraw or get a check.
I only have 1 bank account and wish to use it on both accounts.
I have already started withdrawal on 1 account today, should take few days to clear.
Can i remove my bank account from that account once i see the funds in my bank and add it to the other limited 180 days passed account so i can withdraw? |
^^^yup,thought so
well as the G to the B said, its best not to
but it would be pretty f***** up if they did`nt give you your money because you used the same bank account to withdraw from two 180 days limited accounts
loads of ppl get linked to banned accounts and still get there money after 180 days
but i stress, there is a chance they could keep it so,you need to weigh up the risk
is it worth using up a free account to withdraw from a banned account when it could be a little amount of money???
that is the question |
You CANNOT reuse a bank account once it is in pa yp al's hands. So "NO" is the appropriate answer.
All the best. |
NYCLiz | 08-02-2011 09:07 AM | Why push it? They might just decide to hold your money longer. Is there some law that they have to give it back after 180 days? They might decide to mess with you a bit more, it's their specialty.
It would not be worth the risk to me, I need my money. |
@NYCliz, you want them to hold it longer? Ha - this 180 day deal is not a "law" - it's Pa yp al's policy. |
if i win the euro millions one day i am gonna take pp to court:rant:
the barstewards keeping good ppl`s money as and when they feel like it:suspicious: |
BiN4RY | 08-02-2011 11:52 AM | You simply cannot remove a bank account from a limited account. |
CuBanO | 08-02-2011 05:14 PM | Absolutely not. You will get limited, if not immediately. |

OP is trying to find out if he can reuse a bank account.
Read carefully |
newjerseymax | 08-04-2011 12:15 AM | I am still curious to if it would work? The action itself? Or would you get a simple notice that account is already in use or something of that nature? |
^^^yeah you probably would, but the good thing is
both pp accounts that are/would be using the bank account in question are limited 180 days ready to withdraw so its not like a good standing account could be affected by doing this...
but the tricky bit as stated by the mighty one we call GB is that they could try mess with you, keep your money,NOT GOOD!:mad2: |
You would get the message that the bank account has been assigned to another user. |
SweetPea | 08-04-2011 11:40 AM | I always use a different bank and PP account with each individual Ebay stealth account. I do not link/reuse because if one PP/Ebay account goes down, they all will. Some sellers do this I guess and it works for them.:D |
Your method is nice and clean SweetPea - never reuse stuff, period. | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 06:50 AM. | |
