I have been a Paypal member for over 11 years, and while we've had our ups and downs, issues have always been resolved. However, I started a new business, which was upto about 20k/month gross and I got behind/overwhelemd for 2 weeks or so, and was unable to keep up with communication. About 15 claims were filed, and PayPal limited my account pending the following
- Invoices
- Supplier Contact Information
- Proof of Delievery (For random purchases)
- Resolution of all claims
I uploaded the Invoices, supplier contact info, and had all the delievery info except for 1, and tracking upload on all claims. Just waiting for that 1 proof of delievery, when they closed my account and held about 2k in cash plus all the claims I would win...
I called them, and they said I had the rest of the info, please re-open that panel - they said that is what they needed, and they will get it escalated to review. No info, so I called back, and the agent said basically I'm SOL, and I explained the previous agent's comments, so he gave me the name and number for the person assigned to my account. I called on the day I was told they would be in, only to find out it was a non-working number.
At this point, I am dead in the water - even if they released my account, I would be unable to recover for now, as the loss of capital caused me to be unable to ship recent orders, and those will surley turn into claims, as I cannot even refund the customers at this point due to the limitation, and the claims that will follow will nail the coffin if its not already nailed.
Is there any chance of recovering my PayPal account? Currently, its my only option for making a go of online business until I can obtain a general merchant account, which is at minimum several months away.
Any suggestions are apprecaited! |
