Paypal denied my limitations appeal..

I am using my wife's real information with PayPal and eBay. My account got limited yesterday, probably from receiving and sending to much cash. I hit my 5 grand limit on eBay in two weeks.

I sent PayPal all of my documents and they still denied my appeal. On my PayPal account though its still saying I can remove the limitations?

What should I do? Is it even worth the try?

All depends on what you were selling. Reaching your limit in only 2 weeks is also very risky to them.

If you are selling high risk items like electronics then you better have a good darn supplier and the profits better make sense to paypal for them to not ban you. Thats what I have learned.

If you used your wifes info did you change the IP, clear your cookies, use a different user file etc?

If you did not then you might have linked to your old account and when you ran that much through it red flagged you.

Running that much through a newer account is a huge no no.

Appeal will go nowhere consider yourself closed.

If any of you guys have a more established eBay/PayPal account and you live in a bigger city you should save up three grand and buy a bunch of cell phones. Always check to make sure they are not stolen or they can be activated for some dumb reason. I was buying cell phones for $60 - $200 bucks and making 40 bucks to 100 profit after eBay/paypal fees. An example, I bought two my touch 3g slider phones for 40 bucks each, sold one for 136 bucks and the other for 140.

Phone business get out whilst your up you have one bad deal and all your profits for that month are gone believe me was doing it for years.

Very little profit if any in phones for that matter all electronics.

That's why you do research before you buy the phone, and if it isn't what you thought it is offer less or walk away. I've made big bucks

Do not waste your time, If they said appeal denied so its closed case for them, the only one who can change this but this is not more than 10% chance, if you will call them, and insist to speak to limitation supervisor and convince him/her that your case worth to be reviewed again.
PS. PP don't deny any appeal unless they have a good reason to do that so try not to give them that reason.

Why is that a problem for paypal? Is it because paypal wants an actual real legit supplier or what?

mosguy 08-28-2011 12:01 PM

Paypal just want you dead

zepel 08-28-2011 02:02 PM

Screw PayPal and eBay man! I found a new website 100 times better for what I am selling. PM if you want to know what I am talking about. No final value fee!

Cellphones are a gigantic target for scammers. Parts being switched out, false SNAD cases and chargebacks, counter feiting, etc.

Like many high end Ve Ro items that push accounts into the 5 figure sales range with ease in a very short period of time, you must have legit suppliers and invoices to survive.

I haven't checked to see if this one seller is still alive or not, but he gained a nice reputation for buying iPhones and switching out the parts, then filing cases and sending you back a broken phone. He has over 5,000 FB, so people trusted him. But, it took me 5 minutes to see his little game. He is just one of thousands of people pulling this crap with phones.
