PayPal Limited & all I do is purchase items!
 

My PayPal was Limited today & all I do is purchase items!!!! I have purchased about 11 items and total value of $637.00.

I know I did clear my cookies the other day... but I only buy things!!

PayPal is now asking for Confirm Location, Confirm ID & Confirm Credit card!!

Why would they be asking all this stuff and I don't even sell! My account was opening around JULY 20th, 2011.

Also got this message in my paypal:

Why is my account access limited?

Your account access has been limited for the following reason(s):

Sep 15, 2011: We noticed some unusual activity on the credit card linked to your PayPal account.

Any ideas guys? I have read the stealth book many times... and I know cookies is kind of bad, but I'm not even selling or posing a risk to PayPal.

selling or buying in these days are the same for them concerning risk. The key is to think like them, using empathic feelings and when things go down, rise again. Something you did triggered them to finish you all the way. But as i always think and say, success comes from going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm :)

I think stealth is soon to be over if you don't make your own documents

So UnderBites08, don't suppose you got a copy of an american passport ID page or drivers license with no info on it do you?

I can swap ya for a UK one in few days once I've finished mine

Maybe it's true? that there is some suspicious activity...

I'd remove that Credit Card from your account then call Paypal to tell them you did so. Thank them for being so cautious and for their verification request of your personal info but due to this scare you are going to take a break from the account, possibly a permanent break. If you wish to resume, you will provide a new CC but at the moment are understandably reluctant and taking extra precautions not to give out your personal info

Thank them again for their diligency while letting them know you remedied the situation by removing the risk. They're allways pulling something...or it seems like it though they've left me alone for a while now. NO WAY on Gods Green Earth will I give them my personal info, they are way too unprofessional so I tell them to close the account instead but there is always some excuse why they cannot (but I understand others have different experiences/and ways of thinking)
