Hello Guys, and thanks for all of you for the help you gave me in all of the posts I read!!!
First of all, I had many ebay + paypal accounts (limited for sure... that's why I'm here! :D )
I live in France, and I used to sell products only in ebay.FR ..
Now, all my business is ruined, thanks to gaypal!
I projected to sell products in EBAY.COM
What do you guys recommend me?
Should I still use paypal? (Since buyers love it very much in France, maybe its the same in the USA) But I will be limited once again .. and i'm tired of this ..
Should I Buy a US ebay account, use it through a VPN, and only ask for Bank Wire payments?
Maybe sell through a MERCHANT ACCOUNT, (one which doesnt link with paypal..)
What do you guys recommend me, to not get limited once again!?
Thanks a lot, can't wait to read your replies!!
:D

I, as well as others on this forum, would Recommend that you get the stealth guide to help you restart your selling.
From what I have read, VPNs are bad. Someone else might be able to help you with that though.
Most people trust paypal, and a bank wire payment will not fly with a lot of people... Plus, dont they need your real name to transfer funds? Not sure on that either but good luck.

''Gaypal?'' No such company here. It's paypal so use that term.

Yes I'm about to get the stealth guide soon.. just waiting for my credit card to buy it!!
Yes But if I Use paypal again, i will be limited once again, i'm tired of having my money working for paypal and making them more money..
That's why i want to find a cool way to keep selling ... I don't know much about merchant accounts though.
Also, I would like to know if through an USA PP acount, if u can withdraw funds to a non USA based Bank account?

Playtime over. Serious questions:
specific business plan (types of items, price range etc)
what if any access to you have for a US address?
If none, why could you not consider creating an account in France & shipping to the USA
your own knowledge of computers & being stealth? eBay Stealth has a paypal option

I will sell mainly DVD boxsets,
I didn't understand your 2nd question, sorry...
I thought about creating an account in French, but I also thought that a USA account would be more legit, maybe I'm wrong.
I know a bit about being stealth, but not enough!!! That's why I opened this thread!
And I'm about to get eBay Stealth as soon as possible, but even If it has a paypal option, I guess i'm gonna be limited even if i can build a paypal account.. don't want to go through that anymore!
Thanks for the help and sorry for my english!!!!

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention!
I thought about owning a USA Account because FRENCH ebay accounts can not work with a merchant account!
So if it's a good idea to use a merchant account , I will be forced to use a USA account..
Thanks Green Bean!

USA ebay is not an easier option, much better to go for your own country. There are IP issues and ssn, plus how do you accept returns etc, and you will be required to verify your address.
As for merchant acc, whilst it is not integrated for france, you can still accept cards or other types of payments as long as it is listed as an option on the auction.
DVD box sets need an established account to sell in quantity successfully. Have you tried play.com? of course there are issues with dvds, they are widely counterfeited.

Thanks for your answer!
Unfortunately, i don't find any credit card payment in ebay.FR
There are only
-Paypal
-Check
-Wire Transfer
I can not find any credit card option..
That's why i was thinking of getting an ebay account pre 07 to fix it up with a merchant account, because for all the accounts I had, Paypal was the problem and not ebay.. I mean, sometimes only the paypal accounts were restricted and the eBay accounts were working..
I really don't know what to do, maybe I'm wrong, and maybe France accept credit cards payments even though i'm pretty sure they don't, I wil re check
HELP PLEASE!!!!!

I said no INTEGRATED merchant , does not mean they will not pay you in another method if you request it or put it on auction listing that you accept alternatives. I think if you get bank transfers alot you are lucky as they have least hassle and fees. BUT if most of your customers prefer paypal then they are just like USA or UK - most of them prefer it and they are auto routed to it via pay now button, so you need to learn to live with it.

Thanks for the answer OompaLoompa!
But yeah.. all the customers prefer paypal.. it's hard to deal with..
I used all my friends and family names .. and all got limited..
That's why i was thinking of using a merchant account, which can accept paypal... then i can accept paypal payments without having a paypal account.. I'm desperate!

you want an answer we cannot give you - that you can steer customers away from paypal, its really hard and you can bill them all seperately or integrated and a few will pay that way, but MOST wont.......actually few years ago europe did not favour paypal as much, things have changed, you cannot escape it anywhere, even with pre-07 acc
