[HELP] My paypal limitation
 

Hello,
I have a paypal account, limited from more than 180 days.
It has stealth name. I put a vcc to lift the limitation and a document , but Paypal closed it definetely, though it is verified.
Now I'm able to withdraw funds trough bank wire, but how I withdraw it if the name and lastname is ----? I don't have a bank account with that names.

What can I do?
I have to call paypal and say them to transfer money to my real paypal account?

For my old PayPal accounts in Europe i could withdraw money to any bank account. Banks in Europe do not check if the name is correct, only the account number must be correct.

Just to make sure you could make a test and send 1EUR from your bank account to your friend bank account and put completely wrong name and address. He would receive it.

By the way on the withdraw page I get:
"Enter the name exactly as it appears on your bank statement. If the names do not match exactly, the transfer is not performed and will be charged a fee returned."
I try to send 1 eur to a friend without put the name.
But, paypal can't check the name and don't do the wire if it's different?

Edit: before doing the withdraw, paypal ask me to add a bank account :mad2:

pp is just trying to fool you saying that you must put the correct real name. it can not check your bank account name.
and yes, if you want to be sure make a test payment with a fool name.
also you can ask your bank directly if they check the incoming payments names.
some banks though do share your name if the money come from the same bank. for example if pp sends money to your account from a bank 'A' and you also have an account in this bank 'A' there may be issues.
so to be 100% sure, ask your bank.

I'm italian so i don't think that paypal bank account is in Italy.
I not understood what i have to do now to withdraw that funds.
If paypal want that i add a bank account, they link the account to my account where i put the bank account already. So what's the solution? i think i'm being crazy :)

well you cant use the bank account you have already used on another paypal account.
It also does not matter whose name and surname you put on the bank details when withdrawing to an account...

So either you open a new bank account at the bank and then try again to withdraw from paypal or do what i do and use online savings account which was created instantly with online banking.

If you not willing to do either, then you wont be able to get your money from paypal because if they send you a cheque it wont be in your name.

So paypal can not check my name also if i add a bank account (and not if i withdraw money from paypal)?
If yes, i can open a new bank account, add it to paypal and withdraw the money.. right?

the only way pp can check a name is by taking small amount from your bank and then they see your name sometimes on credit. Otherwise there is no way.

If your country selling visa prepaid card reload. U can buy and try.. it will OK

Paypal allow me to add only Visa card and paypal prepaid card (visa also).
Why pp not let me to add a mastercard?
I think in this way pp want to know my real name...

So instead of a credit card i'll add a "bank account", my bank sale mastercard credit cards with IBAN code, it work like a bank account also ;)

how can they take anything from a bank account??? from a cc yes, but from an account no way

Been reported in threads in the UK forum here of paypal TAKING funds from a bank account. Not usual practice but confirmed as happening. Offhand I think the bank was Lloyds:rant:

raven/gazza! are you able to withdraw to your real bank card? try this before you add a bank, maybe, may not be any need to add bank yet. Not 100% as things have changed, I know you cannot withdraw to vcc anymore.......

When I go to "withdraw to my bank" page, I first have to add a bank account! :S

So i'll avoid to create directly a new bank account. :)

is it possible IBAN goes just with a cc? it's just abank account number in the first place, how it can be with a credit card only?

I do not know, I have luxem acc and used to withdraw to vcc, then it changed to bank card withdraw only, I did not have a bank card so I changed my cash-out methods. I do not know if it then changed to bank only withdraw or is still bank card withdraw - Italy may be similar. Very few Italy users on this forum I am afraid to ask

IBAN is for the bank acc, that is used as an international bank transfer code. Nothing to do with cc.
