What happens if account limited during money transfering to Bank?
 

What would happen if Paypal decides to limit the account when I have money being transferred to my bank, lets say its been a day or two that I did a transfer and then paypal limited the account? Does it happen? (I would presume it does).

Oh also, I know paypal can not see the person's name on a bank account, but can they know the address that was used to open the bank account? Doubt thats possible but I read somewhere that someone got limited because of that o.O

Using my knowledge of normal bank transfers once the money has started the process of moving they cannot touch you. If they do try and reverse it, I would do some digging to see whether that is legal...! Goood luck sir

Can officially confirm that they can reverse as many pending bank transfers as they want, once they put the limitation on, not sure if its legal but they defiantley do it..!

If they transfer is not yet complete, they will reverse it.

What if it states "completed", does that mean its all clear? It says it takes 3 to 4 business days before i transfer, which was yesterday, and today i find it say "completed".

If it says completed, and there's not cases in the resolution center saying any payments are being reversed, then you're safe.

I can confirm they stop any pending transfers if your accounts gets full limited.

back in the day if you had an account limited and you already transfered money to your bank from the account recently they would reverse those funds and send them back to your paypal

Well then, that is really messed up. Should be illegal, but its Paypal, just a ruined company.

I had the same issue.. i made 3 withdrawals on Nov 23, 2011 manila time. the first one got completed and was fully transferred to my bank account lastnight No 24, 2011 manila time. Then November 24, around 4pm, 2 of my withdrawals completed. and I am expecting it should be on my bank tonight. But Paypal suddenly limited my account this morning Nov 25, 2011. Im hoping against hope and will post the outcome tonight.

well, why did i make a withdrawal? because i dont want my money be hostaged by paypal. i have an online gadgets store and i have 2 resellers that pays me 4x a day for iphones, ipad, blackberry and stuff.. when paypal was making their inquiry, a paypal employee even insulted me saying how the hell filipinos can afford to buy iphones when we are a 3rd world country. WHOA!!!! what a stupid remark. anyway, i got all my withdrawals even my account was limited.

Yep, you can get limited alright, had money transfering 40 hours, then my account got limited, it was a sad 180days.
