Default Buy items instead of cashing out?

I have a question for experienced ebayers.

Do you all find it better to just buy items off ebay and resale them to avoid withdrawing money to a bank account and getting limited? I purchased a trip from a travel website that accepts paypal for over 1k and had absolutely no issues. As soon as I try and withdrawal under 300usd my account is limited?

all comments are welcome . thanks in advance

resale them where tho? ebay? kind of a never ending circle.

i was looking at trying to find sites that sell e-gift cards with paypal as payment. that would help some.

not sure why you are getting limited tho. i withdraw around 7-800 a day using two withdrawals. one in am and one in pm. was limited once, but a quick phone call solved that.

ive found that as long as you ship with tracking and upload the tracking info to ebay right away, limitations arent an issue

What address will you ship? Be careful...

Sometimes I like to "cash-out" buying Amazon e-gift cards, Plenty of sellers selling them up to $500 value. Expect to pay above face value though.

I'm starting to wonder where another urban myth is coming from? Not thinking it is you but other users here are also hoping that not withdrawing to a bank account will stop a paypal limitation.

I bring sad news. It will not. Repeating myself again but....use paypal and expect payments to be held.....

I DO like your idea of mixing what you do with your funds. That can work. It is possible to have transactions like that successfully.

You mention being limited for withdrawals under USD$300?

Can you see any reason?

Is your paypal verified & confirmed? Age of the account? Are the funds coming from a source where paypal may have held the monies & the domino effect has struck you.

I buy things and re sell them all of the time on ebay.

I find tons of items that are in the wrong section, items that are unknown to the seller who made them etc.

Talking antiques and collectibles here.

I buy a large number of items and re sell them on ebay so it can be done if you have a knowledge of a particular item and know the current going price etc.

For instance, I found a nice piece of Fenton Art Glass listed in Westmoreland Glass, grabbed it for 10 bucks and decent shipping. Will easily resell for 75.00 range. They did not know who made it and listed it in Westmoreland where no Fenton collector usually roams.
