Limited... Need advice
 

I live in US but my friend invited me for 2 months to Latvia. As i got there, my phone started acting up, so i decided to send some money to my friend by paypal, so he can order a new phone through eBay since he has a local address. And of COURSE, after i sent him the money and he ordered the mobile phone, my account got limited. PayPal asked me to change my password and recovery questions, but now, PayPal is asking me to Confirm Location. The problem is, i have no way to confirm it. I can send me photo ID but then, they will ask for more stuff which i left home. Oh, and the transaction was held by PayPal so my friend is now left with negative balance...

Is there any chance, if i politely explain the situation to PayPal employee by the phone and tell them, that's it's nothing more than misunderstanding, my account will get re-instated?

when you travel, you need to call PP and tell them that you are traveling and you will access your account from the country that you are going to, or PP will think that your account got hacked, you need to call them and explain to them what happened

That's what i am going to do... But how big are my chances though?

I dont think its a big deal, the MAX they will ask you for is to send your ID and your prove of address for the registered address
