i've had all my limited stealth accounts reinstated if paypal doesn't ask for ssn.
speaking of, are they even legally allowed to ask for that?

short answer, yes. since they now have to report you to the irs if you go over 200 transactions at $20k in sales they'll need it then anyway.

its really odd to me that they dont require it in the first place. any other payment processor you use requires a ssn to open. you cant even get reloadable debit cards without one.

im assuming at some point it will be required, but i hope it never gets to that point

Yes... I guess it's easier when they don't ask for an SSN.

Maybe we could all share tips with each other on how to get PayPal to reinstate us.
