Default Another Paypal--"For Our Protection" Memo--A new Twist..

Dear xxxxxxxxxxx,

One of the benefits of using PayPal is that we make every effort to alert
you to potentially problematic transactions. Our goal is to help you make
sound business decisions.

A review of recent transactions indicates that you may have received an
unauthorized payment. This means that the PayPal account holder may not
have authorized the payment you received.

We would like to learn more about this transaction. Please log in to your
PayPal account and provide some information.

We strongly advise that you not ship the item until our investigation is
complete. If you have already shipped the item, please log in and let us
know where you shipped it.

We have placed a temporary hold on the funds until the investigation is
complete.

Ah yes, I got this message when trying to transfer funds from one of my brand new PP accounts, to a more established one. They just reversed the transaction after a day or so, and that was it.

Dear PayPal User,

we have great news for you! As of a few moments ago, your PayPal account has been permanently limited. Please log into your PayPal account and explore all the absolutely no features this limitation allows you access to.

You may no longer send, receive or use your funds, but we are sure you will find it very exciting!

since when is getting money, a risk?
they hold your funds so they can invest it and they hold it off as long as they can, NO STRIKE THAT,
they keep the funds as long as THEY WANT.

When they act like they are doing us a favor, watch out something is brewing in the land of make believe.

I've had the same problem at one point, paypal limited my acct while still accepting payments from my customers but in my case i forgot to update my phone number, after i updated it,i could do whatever i want.Limitless.But they will call me every 2 months though and i always speak to them when i'm around or give them a call when they leave a message and demand why they called me the other time. i have paypal & ebay info glued to the PC so i don't get screwed up but the calls stopped coming when i got my website and started listing less on ebay.
